An effective marketing plan that drives revenue starts with a clear understanding of what makes your business different. However, many marketing plans I see today are communications plans. They focus on communicating WHAT a business does, and not WHY the target customer should choose them. I work with companies to help them develop their value proposition and determine the changes and investments they need to make to leverage and protect it.
